from Daniel Balster Thursday, Apr 27 @ 01:29 CEST 2000 |
My SDK package has been purged out of the distribution. It is now considered to be non-existant, so please don't ask for it anymore. This also effects some tutorial files and other documentation pages. Sorry, but my reasons are closed source.

from Daniel Balster Thursday, Mar 23 @ 07:05 CET 2000 |
The psxdev-sdk package now includes a beta test version of my target library freelib-1.0. This library is just for fun and allows you to test certain PSXDEV features out-of-the-box. It allows you to test PSXDEV without the complicated installation of SDK files into the correct locations and without adaptation and configuration of text based Makefiles. Just install all PSXDEV RPM packages, change to /opt/psxdev/src and let's go!

Linux kernel incompatibilities ? |
from Daniel Balster Wednesday, Mar 15 @ 07:49 CET 2000 |
The linux kernel team is currently doing some necessary clean-ups, and this makes poorly programmed drivers incompatible. It seemed that PSXDEV's PCCL driver was one of that sort, but it has now been fixed. If you're upgrading to a kernel version 2.3.49 you also have to upgrade to release 6 of PSXDEV. Btw. the /proc filesystem code in the current "stable" linux kernel is an awful hack :-)
